Purpose
This site lets you design custom star maps and buy the resulting digital file.
Intellectual property
The site design, its texts and the editor belong to the owner. Star positions are computed with data from d3-celestial (Olaf Frohn, BSD license), cities and time zones come from GeoNames (CC BY 4.0) and the Moon image is from NASA’s Scientific Visualization Studio.
Use of the maps
The maps are computed from an astronomical catalogue and are meant as decorative keepsakes. They must not be used for navigation or for scientific purposes.

This site is governed by Spanish law.

What data we process
- When you browse. We do not ask you to register or to give personal data. The design you make is stored only in your browser and is not sent to us. The hosting provider logs technical data, such as IP address and browser type, to serve and protect the page.
- When you buy. Payment takes place at Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record and processes your payment data under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email, country and order details. We do not receive your card details.
- When you write to us. Your email address and whatever you tell us in the message.
What we use it for
To deliver your file and handle your order (performance of the contract), to answer your questions and to meet legal obligations. We do not send advertising or sell your data.
How long we keep it
For as long as needed to handle your purchase and, afterwards, for the periods required by law.
Who it is shared with
The providers that make the service work: Lemon Squeezy (payments), Netlify (hosting), Google Fonts (typefaces) and Cloudflare (technical library). Some are outside the European Economic Area; in that case the safeguards set out in the General Data Protection Regulation apply.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to its processing, or ask for its restriction or portability by writing to storyphyle@gmail.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
Cookies and local storage
We use no advertising or analytics cookies. We store your design and your language in your browser so they are not lost while you pay; this is essential for the service to work. The Lemon Squeezy payment page uses its own cookies.
Terms of sale
The product
A digital PNG file with your star map. No physical item is shipped.
Price and taxes
The price is the one shown on the site. Any taxes that apply in your country are calculated and shown on the payment page before you confirm.
Payment
Payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy, LLC, which acts as merchant of record and emails you the receipt.
Delivery
Immediate. When payment is complete, the download button brings you back to this site and you download the file. Each purchase allows up to 2 downloads.
Right of withdrawal
Because this is digital content delivered straight away, by starting the download you agree that supply begins immediately and that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal (article 103.m of the Spanish consumer protection act).
Errors and refunds
If the file has a technical fault or you cannot download it, write to storyphyle@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase and we will fix it or refund you. If the mistake is in the details you entered, such as a date or a name, you can correct it and download again within your 2 downloads.
Permitted use
The file is for personal use: you may print it as often as you like and give it as a gift. Reselling or redistributing it is not allowed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you buy as a consumer, you may go to the courts of your place of residence.
